The Woolsafe Organisation

WoolSafe has run a certification programme for carpet maintenance products suitable for carpets and rugs made from wool and other natural & quality man-made fibres since 1991. In 2007 a new green certification was introduced for environmentally responsible cleaning products. Products are independently tested to WoolSafe Standard WS 1001 and those that meet the performance requirements are issued with a Certificate and are entitled to display the Certification Mark on packaging, product literature and advertising material related to the product.

UK Housekeepers Association

The UKHA was founded in 1984 and today is a nationally recognised Association. UKHA is one of the front runners of Associations that represents hotel & catering professionals and Housekeeping and Accommodation Management. UKHA has more than 100 members from all parts of the UK from all areas of Accommodation Management, Hotels, Schools, Institutions, Hospitals and Lecturers from education.
